New Bug Offline Arcade Team Battle - A.I. respawning out of bounds on Jakku

I tried now. They are not out of bounds but they just stand there. It is awful. Just like it was on Jabba's palace few months ago.

Is it only on Jakku?

Thx for the report @PhilChis .That's an interesting behavior tbf. When I was testing bugs and properties on Finn's Big Deal, I used a PC mod that removes the out of playable area feature, so I had the entire map to play with.

I had discovered that even if we remove this restriction, Arcade AI is still restricted to the playable area. It won't venture out of the playable area, but it'll shoot enemies they have LoS to, even if these enemies are out of the playable area. This made it easier to manipulate the AI to stay where I wanted them to be.

So with your report it seems AI can't pathfind back to the playable area if they are out of it, just like they can't venture out of the playable area even if the enemy is there.

Thanks for the extra info! So maybe it's the same BUG that existed in Jabba's Palace in the past. I may have some time to test today, I'll definetly check this out

Summarize your bug i was playing arcade today 22/sep/2019 first i had one enemy stuck way down under the map, where i autodie if i fall down trying to land there. then i noticed two more enemy ai 'players' stuck on opposite side of same area of the map. i have screenshots below showing how they must have got down to one of the places.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? see images for sequence; drop down gap, roll back, drop into stuck space.
What happens when the bug occurs? enemy gets stuck, and cannot move out or respawn so does nothing until you see them and kill them, or drop down then they shoot at you and you kill them, before having to use respawn from menu..
What do you expect to see? not sure; maybe not getting to those places or being forced to respawn if they land in them. perhaps blocking off the gap in image 2 would help. or filling it over with plate of metal.

the pics show the sequence i think happened. 1 screenshot is the look at the containers under the stairs, behind which the second stuck enemy was. (to the right over the rail on the pipe going down a second enemy was stuck unable to move but at least visible and shootable without the next sequence.)

2 is the gap i believe the enemy behind the containers dropped through. if you drop down through facing that direction,  you land on the containers. if you then backup without turning, or roll back like i did, you wind up down where the camera is looking bottom left in that gap in 3

another enemy was stuck several levels down on the opposite side, almost under a girder somehow. unable to drop down to same place without death. i had to stand on middle walkway over the area at opposite end from the spots in the pictures looking down and shooting to kill that enemy. not sure how the ai got there without dying.

I have experienced this issue as well going back two updates ago. Thanks for taking the time to report it.

I have also experienced these issues in Arcade Offline...

1. Anytime you play 2vs2 or 4vs4 in Arcade Team Battle, the friendly A.I. will only spawn and respawn as Assault Class Troopers. 

2. The Specialist repulsor cannon does not cause damage on the first shot or even the second shot sometimes.

I have reported these issues going back almost two years for #1. I have heard that one of the next few updates may address the bugs in the game, but it seems like Dice and EA are only concerned with fixing bugs for heroes. Hopefully all of these will get addressed. I bought this game with the hopes of enjoying it, but I have never had the oppurtunity to play the game correctly with all of the bugs.
