New Walker Assault type mode for Battlefront 3.

Weeks ago, I made a topic discussing Vehicular Gameplay if DICE ever made SWBF3. https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/SWBF3-EA-Wishlist-Vehicle-combat/m-p/9375585#M16022

I spoke about no more on rail vehicles, which destroys sense of freedom and immersion for the Star Wars IP. Especially since DICE gave us a plethora of vehicles to utilize in their battlefield games (Which the Battlefront IP was inspired from). At the end, I spoke about an alternative for Walker Assault.

Here's my idea for an alternative. For now, I'll call this mode "Siege Assualt". You are protecting either stationary or a walking super weapon.

For the Clone War, The clones must protect the SPHA-T

For the Galactic Civil War, The rebels must protect the Ion Cannon

For the First Order-Resistance War, the first order must protect the Superlaser siege cannon.

Those vehicles and turret should be on rails, and must be protected at all costs.

And it shouldn't be limited on Geonosis, Hoth, and Crait. DICE made it work in the first reboot by including walker assault on the other planets like sullust, bespin, endor and more.

I can see the clones protecting the SPHA-T from invading coreships (or Supply ships) on coruscant, naboo, and much more.

But let's talk about everyone's favorite era, the Clone War.

On Geonosis, there are three/four SPHA-Ts the clones must protect. They have the firepower to destroy the coreships. While The SPHA-T should be on rails, the players can still use the cannons and turrets. The opposing players (The confederacy) must destroy them as the coreship slowly starts to take off. The Droid army must hold off the invading clones until the Coreship has left

Same goes for the, First Order-Resistance war.

on Crait, the first order must protect the siege cannons in order to destroy the resistance base. You can still use the Hauler walkers weapons. The Resistance must hold off the first order forces while they evacuate and flee. Once the cannon is near the base, it's game over and the first order wins.

And the same goes for the Rebel Ion cannons. The rebels must hold off imperial forces as they evacuate. Their Ion cannons can disable ships, and that's where the Empire comes to play. They must advance in order to take the planet by destroying the Rebel Ion Cannon.

And as I said, it shouldn't be limited to crait, hoth, and geonosis. DICE should play around and experiment with this kind of idea. Thoughts?
