@chuntery wrote:Yes, Star Wars 2 Battlefront. Star Wars 1 Battlefront and Squadrons work OK (at least for me) on loading. No problems either with other non EA games loading and running. I just double-checked. It could be an issue with Origin as I have seen numerous updates.
I haven't checked the other EA forums as EA probably have a better oversight than I could possibly have....and they can do it a lot more efficiently.
Three thoughts ...
1) if it was due to a Windows update ....why only this specific game, not others and why then can you connect eventually and not "permanently be locked out".
FDG: SWBF2 could be using specific Windows functions that other games don't. Unlikely though. This being said, I haven't seen enough data yet that says its only happening with SWBF2.
2) is every Windows gamer affected. If some are not ...why not? Still not 100% clear if Playstation and XBox users are seeing this?
FDG: People apply updates at different rates. Some don't allow Windows to update whenever it feels like it.
3) If EA_Atic and colleagues don't see this happening ...what is different about their settings/position relative to servers versus us?
FDG: I'm not sure there is a large enough sample of EA employees who have confirmed its working fine.

Yes, I am still having this problem. 🤔
(Error 721)

Hello,
I have the same problem. When I am connected after several tries of clicking connect and try to join a server ich get the error code: 216.
Since any other EA Game I play (Battlefield 4, 5, SW Squadrons, SWBF1) are working fine I dont expect this to be a case of port forwarding or something else but rather an extension of the problem covered in this thread. Also before someone writes it. I did port forwarding just in case (which never works in such errors) and uotrace. Nothing wrong with my connection.

This offline problem is related with the Error 721.
Still not resolved. 🤔

After the Origin Update today, I cannot connect at all. After a few dozen 721 Errors the game changed to Error 327 - Unable to Connect to EA Servers, followed by a console-style red message across the top left of my screen that says the servers are currently down and they are aware of the issue.
While this is a problem at all times, it does seem to increase every Wednesday, when I suspect there is a large jump in traffic due to the XP Bonus.

Yes, I confirmed.
The EA server issue might be resolved.
But we still have the offline mode problem (Error 721).

It would seem that this has been an issue in the past for many people over the years.
I hope this gets some kind of resolution.
