Same with clones and their aerial transport. There's no reason this can't be done. THEY jump out of both sides and run off the street as the camera moves in behind you. The animations are already there so the change wouldn't be big, and the battle would feel more epic.

- 8 years agoYou can't do that, the 2nd and 3rd areas would be extremely overcrowded. They'd have to completely redesign those sections to be balanced around that many people, and those doorways are small enough as they are. Can you imagine the 10 turrets there blocking them all on both sides? It'd be turmoil. No, the answer to the current map is filling out the 1st phase. Steps 2 and 3 are good as they are, but the city is totally empty except for a bazillion birds.
Having large scale fights like you ask won't be possible on THIS map, but I see no reason why it can't be done as a possible DLC, unless one is already made for it at launch. Personally I don't even like 20v20, it's too many people playing extremely cheap, who wants to be sniped every 20 seconds? It's frustrating and boring. 20v20 is my limit, but I don't want to be able to run from one side of the city to the other and only see 2 enemies, happens a LOT on Theed, and it seriously needs to be fixed. Micro objectives or something need to go in to punish or reward teams who use the whole map. It doesn't have to be FULL, but a squad of 5 or 6 blocking some alleys or choke points would be nice. What military man leaves those undefended? Not to mention the clones on the com's saying the locals already pushed them back once, you'd think some improvements would have been made since then. New plans vs what worked/failed last time. Nope, same old grinder. We like the content and the objective, but we need a little more "oomph" on this particular level.
