You have a couple of complaints about that on Reddit already, but I thought I'd bring it here as well. No clue if EA sees that on Reddit.
Today's patch didn't fix anything in that regard.
I'm playing on a high end rig with:
- i7 6700k
- Zotac GTX 1080 AMP!
- 32 gb DDR4 Ram @2133 Mhz
- Nvidia Control Panel -> Maximum performance setting
- Every driver up to date including Bios
- Xbox One controller attached (Which I'm not using for playing BF2 though)
It happens every other minute, sometimes twice in a row, more often than not when ADS'ing. I'd love it if you'd fix that asap.
I'm playing in 2K resolution with constant 80+ frames, depending on the map. Gotta say the ALPHA/BETA ran better, with a constant 100 fps plus.
The frames are okay, but the stutter every now and then has to go away. It kills the "immersion", if there is any. Playing things like Battlefield 1 works just fine, every other game I play as well. Besides PUBG that unoptimized piece of work.
So please get behind this.
