oops - Game Crashes following todays update

You are getting more than I.

I can maximize, but no music.

Crashes at main loading screen.

I'm on PC BTW.

You'll want to search for the "Star Wars Battlefront II" folder, as its in your files somewhere, assuming you are on PC.

I can only find two Star wars Battlefront ll folders that have todays date.

1) C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Origin Games - this contains executables so have left this alone

2) C:\ProgramData\Origin\LocalContent -  contains Origin.OFR.50.0002033.dat, .mfst and .pkg files

So deleted this folder but saw no difference -  it still crashes.

Other steps taken...

I hunted down the BootOptions file and adjusted the settings one by one followed by a PC reboot ...no change. I thought changing the parameter -

GstRender.WindowBordersEnable  from 1 to 0 might have had an effect but sadly not.

So as a last resort I am trying to download SWBF2 on to another PC but its taking hours despite having a superfast Internet connection ☹️

The OC is a little on the old side but should have the umph to work.

The final solution will be to delete SWBF2 completely and start with a new download but that's for another day.

@chuntery I've reinstalled SWBFII today, didn't work. Crashed couple of times.
