PC - High CPU/Freezing After 1.03 Patch

Ever since the 1.03 patch on PC I've had this problem where one moment the game is running perfectly smooth; single player, arcade or multiplayer - it doesn't matter which - Then the next match or phase loads up and the CPU will sky rocket from 35% CPU to 80, 85, 90, 95, 99%.

It'll continue to stay high and fluctuate in the 80s and 90s, causing the game to micro stutter until it eventually freezes the game and causes my computer to freeze up for some seconds, only to unfreeze seconds later and it'll go back to micro stuttering just to repeat the same process.

The only "fix" I found is to force close the game, re-open and play until it decides to randomly happen again.

Anyone else experiencing this?

    Hey @TamTaaam Thanks for coming back with information!

    You don't happen to have DirectX 12 active? You can take a look at: document\User name\STAR WARS Battlefront II\settings then open the file called BootOptions.  The setting should be 0 on DX12.

    When you are playing can you take a look on how the heating is for your system and see how much of your system is used when it starts lagging?

    Don't forget to update the GPU drivers with a clean install option to try to remove corruption with drivers.

    @EA_Atic

    I've checked the DX12 in the BootOptions and the value is set to 0.

    - Average CPU% during a Galatic Conquest match

    Spoiler

    - Midgame CPU Spike within the same match

    Spoiler

    - Battlefront Froze Soon After, Hardware Temperatures

    Spoiler

    I have the latest GPU drivers from Geforce, being 388.43 as of the 30th of November, I tried rolling back to the previous driver 388.31 but the issue persisted, I attempted again with a clean install of 388.43 and the issue is still there.
