(PC) Will not change from windowed mode

The game will not go out of windowed mode. If I go to settings and switch over to fullscreen, it refuses to do anything. The game stays exactly how it was. If I select windowed borderless it actually crashes the game completely. I do not know what exactly is going on because it did not do this in the Beta. Any help would be grateful!

    I did finally find a solution to the problem. I'm still uncertain what the issue was exactly but I did a system restore/revert with windows and selected to keep all of my original files. Windows re-downloaded itself and now the problem seems to be fixed. I can easily switch to fullscreen and back with all the games. Hopefully this helps anybody out there still needing help!

    If you have DirectX 12 enabled, can you let us know if disabling that has any effect here please?

    DirectX12 has no effect on it. It was off to begin with when first starting the game. It will crash on borderless and not fullscreen at all whether it is on or off.

    i have the same problem. fullscreen stays in window mode. alt+enter doesn't help.

    now, after i played battlefront 2 none of my other games run in fullscreen anymore. wtf!? and help please

    completely deinstall the graphic card driver and reinstall. solved the problem for me. hope this helps.

    I am curious though. When you did a complete deinstall of the graphics driver, did you just uninstall 388.31? Or everything?

    i have a gtx card and i deinstalled everything from nvidia. then reinstalled the newest driver, without nvidia geforce experience.

    So do I, I tried uninstalling the graphics driver and everything before but it didn't seem to work. Did you just uninstall from programs and features? Or somewhere else?

    ye i just unistalled from programs and features everything with a nvidia icon, then installed newest driver without nvidia experience. i wish i could be more helpfull but that's all i did...
