(PC) Will not change from windowed mode

The game will not go out of windowed mode. If I go to settings and switch over to fullscreen, it refuses to do anything. The game stays exactly how it was. If I select windowed borderless it actually...

    I did finally find a solution to the problem. I'm still uncertain what the issue was exactly but I did a system restore/revert with windows and selected to keep all of my original files. Windows re-downloaded itself and now the problem seems to be fixed. I can easily switch to fullscreen and back with all the games. Hopefully this helps anybody out there still needing help!

just wondering, did you have problems with other games playing fullscreen after playing bf2? after i played bf2 all my games i play i had the same problem. it's interesting...

    Yeah, I had RB6 Siege having the issue which is what made me come up with the idea of reverting Windows. I didn't try any other games doing it before that point, just BF2 and RB6.
