So if I pre ordered the disk version of the standard edition am I able to pick it up any sooner than the 17th or do I have to wait til the 17th

Community Admin@Kikikian2698r The store that sent it out shouldn't make the game available before the 17th.
If you're on PC the Standard Edition of the game wouldn't unlock before the 17th in any case.
