Please don't cheat obi wan by making him a pure defense only fighter, even though he should have the best blaster deflect accuracy and stamina, Im curious as to what others think, maybe Force push weaker than yoda's and not as much range as luke but could be used more frequently. Through out the movies, and the series he used it quite a bit
If they do use mind trick... like some have said it then should be different from Rey
Thoughts
The heroes and villains in the game have pretty decent abilities that fit their character. (except for Phasma, that staff strike is pretty useless)
So I am not that afraid they will make crazy weird choices for the upcoming ones.
However, making Obi-wan a bit more defensive would fit the upcoming heroes. Since Anakin will probably be far more focussed on attack, just as Grievous. Dooku will probably be somewhere in between and I hope Obi-wan as well.
I shouldn't be that worried about attack/defense, I just hope the light side heroes will become more powerful on their own, instead of constantly relying on other characters. Most of the dark side characters are able to do a lot on their own, while for the light side, the power really comes from teamwork. Hopefully Obi-wan and Anakin will be more focussed on being powerful instead of buffing teammates.
Also giving Kenobi another teammate buff ability would make sense (great defender), but Yoda and Finn already have that. That would a bit overkill IMO.
For Dooku you think 1 hand lightning, and force choke as 2 of his 3 abilities/powers? {Lightning not as strong as palpatine}
In the movies, Dooku was pretty good with the lightsaber and strong in the force. So I would really like to see him being a character that has a powerful combination between lightsaber and force powers. However, I don't hope (and also I don't think) Dooku will only have lightning powers, because that would just be a copy and paste of Palpatine.
So maybe Dooku will have as primary attack a lightsaber, and then one ability is something with lightning. One of the other abilities might be something with the force, but I am not sure if it will be a choke or another push ability.
Would you like Dooku to get a force push ability? I think it is kind of weird since Maul and Luke already have one. I would prefer something originals that only Dooku can do 🙂
