I have the same issue, but i think i found the problem, i presume that the studio actually set the preorder last date as 29th of september. That explains why some people who have preordered early have the beta in their library already. In this link here it says before 30th of september.

Yet this source says by October 1st,
Origin says and other sources says: 3 days before the early access period, thats October 1st.

So it seems that there is alot of conflicting information and disorganization, i just hope people like us don't get screwed over and don't get early access. Ive spoken to an EA advisor and he said that since the article said October 1st, they can send me a code because im eligble and they will honor that, but EA has not actually resolved my case yet, and i'm worried i wont be able to play on the 4th, as ive yet to receive a code and the beta isn't even in my library, and tomorrow is the beta, so...
Yesterday they told me to contact them back today, ive spoken to an EA advisor but my firefox crashed before the issue could be solved, and ive been trying to contact another one for 5 hours and everytime they just put me to an Automated advisor and pretty much dodge me.
