ProfileOptions file getting overwritten
I have a problem with V-sync, so I tried to edit the ProfileOptions_profile file, but every time I restart the game, even offline, the file gets overwritten. Is there a way to bypass that?

Yes, don't update files directly. Make your changes in the UI.

I'm also having a similar problem trying to turn off the auto sprint when you double tap w. The setting I'm trying to change comes up as "DoubleTapToSprint 1 " in notepad and there is no in game option to turn this off. Any edits I make to the file are overwritten when I launch the game and even turning on read only doesn't work as the game somehow turns it off. This setting makes stealth borderline unusable in the campaign so I'd greatly appreciate a more solid answer, even if it's a simple "no it's not possible."
