It is pretty strange. I’ve never had an accidentally damaged disc and see nothing on the disc in the way of a scratch or smudge. Had exactly zero damaged discs with my PS4 in 6+ years.
Almost as if they could take our discs in trade for a digital copy, that’d be amazing!
If anyone is still having trouble I was able to fix mine by powering off the console for 2 minutes and installing without being connected to the internet.
No dice, pretty sure it’s a faulty disc.
mine’s a digital download and i’ve been stuck on 39% all day. i’ve restarted the ps4 multiple times to no avail. i’m trying the turn off for two minutes thing to see if that works and completely disconnecting it from the internet. i hope it works bc it’s really upsetting. i even tried connecting a LAN cable but my ps4 won’t recognize it.

I'm in the exact same boat, with the exact same percentage. Digital download, 39%, no internet, tried two minutes off. Nada. And I thought it was my internet at first due to how long the download took in the first place, but I also downloaded Jedi Fallen Order and that hasn't had an issue.
How do you install without internet connection
