PS4 Pro Frame Rate issue?

I've watched a lot of Youtube and note that other players seem to have a much smoother match, even on my console platform, even while getting constant connection issue messages that I almost never get.

It's not unplayable, but in those critical moments were a lot of things happen, such as trying to avoid being shot by activating a rocket trooper pack, or having many bolts flying at once, there is a lot of stickiness to my actions, and the glitches make reaction in real time impossible. Almost every time I am shot, there is a frame rate drop or hold up, my avatars position will change with no warning, like a frame rate drop. Every time. Even my kill cam afterward will often stutter, but only during those more dense action moments is it super obvious.

I have 32 ms time to server in oregon, where I also live. I've checked TV settings, PS4 Pro settings, turned boost mode on and off, HDR on off, checked firmware, changed TCL 4k TV to game mode for added latency improvements, I have a hard line internet connection, upgraded my comcast router, etc. Same issue. I can't seem to change how this behavior happens, regardless of settings.

Sticky, glitchy, not so much a stutter as a hold, then sudden forward in action. It may be even worse with Heroes, because of all the movement, its like my PS4 Pro is broke and doesn't process well or something.

Other peoples' games just have this fluidity when shooting I can't get. Is it a frame rate issue? There was one day it seems to work like it should. It was soooo smooth I had to turn down my sensitivity settings by half and my kill count doubled, because the sticky action issue was gone. It was so different I was laughing out loud because It was so much easier to get kills predictably. But that was one day out of months.

    Hey @Catalyst_Sux

I'm sorry to hear about your issues with the game ☹️

Can I ask if you've been experiencing this problem since you purchased the game? Or maybe it got worse with one of the updates?

Since launch same issues, save for one day, playing early in the morning. Okay, so I had a huge improvement in flow smoothness last night. Huge. If nothing was done to the server, and this continues, it could mean my ps4 pro to tv communication wasn’t good. I updated TCL TV firmware, changed hdmi port to one labeled for games, and now my visuals are super smooth. Thing is, arcade was always fine, it was just online. So, if something was changed April 23 on the servers, it worked. So far. Best play I’ve had. Last time I had a good day, sadness was back the following day, so we will see if it stays consistent. If you did nothing to servers at all, then it could have been my local issue. That said, no other games were having issues, even graphic intensive ones. Even arcade and Idens missions played perfectly. Can’t see how multiplayer would have been different if it was an input issue. Stay tuned.
