Punching in the game

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug When i punch someone in the game on any mode it is way to slow, I would apreseate if you take Halo 5 as an example their mechanic is alot better than Battlefront 2s and effective. Also itlf you can make the controller to viabrate while you punch someone or something only. Another thing is when I run the animation is like your wobbling. If you can make it to the old Battlefront Psp games animation.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Take Halo 4, Halo 5 for example. Make it clean please
What happens when the bug occurs? When i am busy nailing someone to death
What do you expect to see? Obveously you cant make it exactly like Halo 5 (Copy Right) but mabe you can improve it alot please.

    I'll provide it to our developers, but unfortunately I cannot promise that any changes to the melee animation will be introduced anytime soon 😳

  • I don't think there is anything wrong with the animation of the melee, find it pretty cool!

    There is just one thing that bugs me when melee'ing, which is that if you press (PC) the melee button twice very shortly after each other, your character will melee twice.

    In the first SWBF1 (2015) the melee worked the way that if you pressed a few times (spam the button) while the first animation is being executed, there will still be only 1 melee done, not 2.

    Its a bit hard to explain but this means that if you press the melee button twice in SWBF2 while you intend to just melee once, it will go on twice. You cannot stop the melee, it will continue until the second melee is done. So whenever I try to melee someone which is walking away, you melee once, that person moves, you can't walk since that second melee will be done, and you die.

    Any chance that the animation of SWBF2 (2017) could be combined with the above described mechanic of SWBF1 (2015) at some point ?? @EA_Ataashi

  • My problem with melee is that you can punch target without ever touching the target. I dont see much into the hit boxes, but I think its the hit box mechanics that is the problem. Sometimes, I see somebody shooting me, or me shooting at them, while a roll is happening. Scoring a headshot, when head is not there.
