In my experience yes the double and triple xp events help you complete the milestones faster. If you're not sure just wait til the end of a match then check the progress on the characters you played as on the left most post match report, then compare to the milestone progress on the right most post match report. For me they go up by the same amount, which is double/triple what my score was when I check it during the game
Sorry to bump this topic back, but can someone from EA confirm or deny this? I know nobody from DICE comes here to this site and I’ve seen several posts from people from EA... so I might as well shoot my shot lol
