@Sati_SatiRemember the Scarif DLC map from BF2015?
That map had two phases, the first one was set in the orbit with the objective to fly one U-Wing through the imperial barricade.
So if you were chosen to fly the U-Wing, it as all up to you to fight against TIE-Fighters on one side and pilot the ship to the blockade so the rebel team can advance to the ground phase.
Similar for the Death Star DLC.
It's really a shame that they didn't port these map progression schematics into BF2. We might have Supremacy, but no mode that mixes starfighter battles in the orbit with following up ground phases or vice versa.
I guess the main problem here is that starfighter phases wouldn't be too popular through the playerbase, I remember quite some people in BF2015 would just wait in the spawn menu until the orbit phase was over. Which was really sad.
@TRlALONYes I know, but maybe they could add them as they did in the other planets as well (not just u-wings but every other starfighter).
