@Sati_SatiRemember the Scarif DLC map from BF2015?
That map had two phases, the first one was set in the orbit with the objective to fly one U-Wing through the imperial barricade.
So if you were chosen to fly the U-Wing, it as all up to you to fight against TIE-Fighters on one side and pilot the ship to the blockade so the rebel team can advance to the ground phase.
Similar for the Death Star DLC.
It's really a shame that they didn't port these map progression schematics into BF2. We might have Supremacy, but no mode that mixes starfighter battles in the orbit with following up ground phases or vice versa.
I guess the main problem here is that starfighter phases wouldn't be too popular through the playerbase, I remember quite some people in BF2015 would just wait in the spawn menu until the orbit phase was over. Which was really sad.

I really loved that Scarif DLC in Star Wars Battlefront 1.
Before I watched the Rogue One movie, I played the DLC and that was wonderful experience. 😉
(There was no spoiler!! And the plot was well-designed. The map was so beautiful.)
Once I was chosen as a U-wing. I try to fight against enemy TIEs.
Good streak then my ally U-wing passed the gate.
I was so glad to see the Scarif map in SWBF2. 🙂
But yes, to be honest, a little bit dissapointed.
Where is my U-wing? No Orbital Shield Gate map? Hmm... 🤔
- @Sati_Sati Yeah I wish they added scarif in galactic assault with the phases of bf2015. At least they added him so that's something.
@karagianni1972It would've been great too if they added a mode where you can play ground and orbital battles simultaneously and dynamically switch between them. That way no one is forced to play stuff he doesn't like and it'd be highly interesting how the battle progress on ground and orbit would influence each other.
There exists a mod for the original Battlefront II who does exactly that. I think they called it Battlefront III lol.

Also U-wing should be added to Scarif Spremacy.
