Saw this last night on Kamino as well. Was flying around during phase 2, had about 1/2-3/4 health. Was not around any of the environment to get killed by a random hitbox glitch, only other fighter in the area had just been killed. No missile/torpedo warning, boom, instant death. Did not credit any player with the kill, nor did it give the method of death. Very odd. I'm assuming it's lag related since the servers have been so buggy lately.
I think you need to watch the videos that were included in my first post and the original post. Your issue, if you think it’s just lag, is completely different than what we were experiencing. After a couple of days have passed, and having tested what it looks like when you hit respawn, I am more convinced than ever that someone was actually causing us to respawn.
