our negativity definitely did not backfire, because it evolved out of EA ignoring us in the first place! They don't ignore us for this negativity - the negativity is a result of them not caring at all about a problem that exists for everybody who reaches rank 50. (so it happens always! 100%)

Also you are saying our posts of not supporting EA any more don't belong here is pretty ridiculous! They belong exactly here! What does not belong here is you two discussing how to delete posts or where to post what - with all due respect, but that belongs in a different thread!

@morrheidl This issue DOES NOT happen for everyone. That is a bad assumption to make. If you are on xbox, you can open the TrueAchievements app, find the game and the level 50 achievement. Once there you will see on the right side the users that have unlocked the achievement. It was easily unlocked for many since well after december. It only really became an issue after the progression update. 3 people on the site have unlocked the achievement since then. If anything I'd like to talk to them about how they got around this.

On your second point, not playing ea games or why someone does it has nothing to do with the glitch. That would be something else. Think of it this way. If I was a developer looking into if a glitch is still a common occurrence, do you think it is easy to comb trough 600+ posts where maybe 1 post on each page is an actual occurrence of the glitch with relevant technical information? of course not. Being so negative and venting that here slows down potential fixes and wastes readers' time regardless of whether they are a dev or someone interested. 

Also, the negativity on here is why they have stopped replying frequently. If you look at early pages, they did reply to this thread somewhat often. Now, you would have to go back to page 50 to see the last developer response. When you compare this to an ewok hunt issue that was replied to the same day, it is that this thread is fulled with so much unrelated junk to sort through such as your hateful, angry reply to a comment that is supposed to get this noticed properly by the right people in a manner that devs, and other players, can easily look through to determine if this issue is still common. 

@morrheidl - the conversation with @dozer2492 was a question and reply in regard with what he was told by EA support. The subject matter  was relevant to this thread. Was I supposed to start a new thread just to reply?

In regard to the negativity ( I included myself ), a great portion of the posts were negative ( sometimes rightly so ) and a lot were just repetition of  prior posts. I understand that players are angry at the non-responsiveness of EA support staff and the problem still existing after many patches & posts. I don't believe that EA spend much time reading this thread anymore. Would you still keep reading if all you got negative and in some cases almost abusive posts?

I apologise if my posts were seen as offensive to some, that is not my intent.

Back to the issue...

It's still not fixed, we're still coming here hoping for information, and lo and behold we still have no communication or updates on the problem.

Getting to be a tedious but strangely familiar part of my daily routine.  

@SnowmanHDIn my previous post I mentioned how some people on the TrueAchievements app on xbox are still able to unlock the achievement. I could try to talk to them today (Wednesday) and hopefully I can get a response for how they got around the bug. With that information I can try to post the reply I get here as a fix for Xbox One players only (I don't have playstation). Does that sound good to everyone? Perhaps a similar fix could also work for playstation owners.

I just want to add that for a company it is their duty to read those threads, no matter how negative the comments are. Actually the more negative, the more attention they should give, because it should be their goal to make their costumers happy.

so additionally I want to say that I am still waiting for a fix for this and also that another friend of mine stopped playing this game too.

@morrheidl Of course it is their job to read the threads, however a giant amount of negativity voiced on a thread intended for detecting and fixing bugs slows things down because it gets harder to find relevant posts as the amount of unrelated posts increase. I never debated it wasn't their job to read the forums but anyone can observe that as the community got more negative and as the complaints started to outnumber actual reports on this thread, developer responses became more spaced out. If there is something negative or a means that a company can improve as constructive criticism, that should be voiced under an appropriate forum for feedback and community opinion on news, releases, etc. 

Now, back onto the topic of this achievement, I should be able to reply at about 8-9 pm pacific time if I can get in touch with TrueAchievement app users that have unlocked the achievement on a method to do so.

@angelganon That could be the case but there could be some technical thing they did like disconnecting from wireless and reconnecting after they remove the update, etc. Just because they reached rank 50 doesn't mean they didn't encounter the bug, or a way to fix it. As such, it is still worth trying as even what they were playing could be somewhat helpful.

Finally it looks like someone on the development team is communicating relevant information on a issue in a structured and useful way.

And i note when someone specifically asked about this threads' topic the response was...

"We're aware of the rank 50 bug, it is on our hit-list to fix."

It's not an entirely new response to the question but the level of interaction so far from this community manager (F8RGE) does indeed give me hope!

Now... if this policy could just be rolled out to all EA employees then the fear/anger/hate/suffering may come to an end 😃

Yesterday I had an update of B2 on my PS4 but as I gave up this game I did not even try to see what it changed. I have little hope, I no longer trust EA: strongly that the Star Wars license is recovered by a competent company and respectful of its customers.

@SnowmanHD- I agree but I just finished playing for the night expecting to see this problem fixed with the server maintenance. Ho Hum still not fixed. If you had followed the server maintenance updates on the other forum, you would have seen that F8RGE even mentioned achievements in an update. That also gave me some expectations - silly me.

Go to the forum via general discussion, select the "online issues within Battlefront II " bar then scroll to update #19 to see what I mean.

What does it say your trophy completion percentage is? I'm only missing the Rank 50 and platinum trophy (earned but not received) but my percentage says I'm only at 90%. It used to randomly bounce between 92% & 91% but has been locked at 90% for a couple months.I just want to see where everyone else is on PS4, maybe this has something to do with the problem. Thanks.

I agree that negativity doesn't scare off EA from looking at our posts. Heck the tittle of the most commented on post in this forum is titled " Duplicates Still DONT give back CREDITS!!!" - pretty sure caps lock doesn't mean the guy who created it was being civil. I think EA has had issues with communicating while issues are affecting us gamers, I do believe they have made efforts to correct this, but I think the current problem is where we should be looking for this. When I first had bug that brought me here, I came via customer support chat on EA website. They stated I needed to search the topics and find out if there was a post, if there wasn't then I should create one. I think what should happen is customer support chat needs to create a ticket and by doing this create a bug report. I have seen many issues convoluted because there are 20 + posts on the same bug. This makes it harder for EA to respond to multiple threads (not saying they can't do it, just saying it makes for more busy work.) The new communication that EA is doing seems to be related in two different formats, the Tweets from Ben Walke and the posts on Battlefront II Forums (EA Site) the issue with the later is that fact that there isn't a consensus on where the communication is going to go. I have seen it in several different forum topics and it would be nice if there was one titled "HOT TOPIC" or something more creative that makes actual sense. So I guess for now it's a scenario where we check, check again and double check until we have a one-stop-location-for-answers.

I don't have anything new with me this time and I can assure you that you are not forgotten we are still working/investigating the level 50 trophy and achievement.

I don't have an ETA on when it will be fixed.

Appreciate the response @EA_Atic - although a bit more frequent updates would be nice. Whilst this is not what many would call "game breaking" (like for example this one: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Not-working-Thermal-Binoculars-Scan-Dart-NV-optics-Boba-Fett/td-p/6437653/page/9 , also in need of desperate attention), it is still a slap in the face to the most hardcore gamers who have put the time and effort to get this trophy.

I know for a fact (and I won't elaborate on that) this is a relatively simple fix, and it's 100% on EA's side - this has absolutely nothing to do with the platform holders.

I see in so many posts where people ask for updates on these issues, unfortunately, EA "post-launch" don't have the manpower to reply. Now please don't think I am a shill or paid by EA when I say this, I am just becoming a realist while dealing with several issues and bugs in the game over the past five months. It has made me aware that they are trying to do what they can to communicate, but when they don't have any news, I think they see it as a "no news is good news" and instead wait until they have a definitive answer. This means we have to be patient which is somewhat impossible given how the game is playing out. I have found though that if I don't get the answers I want from this forum then, I can essentially look in 3 places to hear about the things that EA is working on. I guess we should think of it as one of those three-headed dragons from Greek Mythology, except we won't be cutting any of their heads off (yet.) lol
