Re: 8-Bitdo Controller Support?

Hi.

Just worked my way around this with mine, and thought I'd let you know as well as others who find this.

If your controller is reading on your bluetooth manager as "Pro Controller", it's likely synced as a Nintendo Switch Pro controller.

Turn the controller off (Start for 5 seconds) and do the X+Start to get it set as its Windows compatible mode, then the Pair.

If your bluetooth manager detects it as "8bitdo sn30 pro+", you should be good to go.

Hope to see you on the front lines. May the Force be with you!

  • Hi, I've been running into the same problem. What do you mean by "X + Start"? Like, press the buttons X and Start from the controller at the same time?

  • Yes, this worked for me.

I messed up at first. I just too quickly pressed Start and X at the same time, and accidentally connected the control as a "Pro Controller", likely in Nintendo Switch mode. If I HOLD Start and X at the same time, while the controller is off, it's available to connect as an 8Bitdo SN30 Pro and works in Jedi: Fallen Order.
