The problem is the game is putting us in wrong servers sometimes, I tracked the IP and some times they put me in a whole different region with like 200ms.

Check your options EVERY TIME before joining a game and see if it's in the right region, the game changed my region to china or something 3 times already it's * weird.

And open task manager, if you have more than 150ms just quit and rejoin another game until you have a decent ping, I do this every time 1 or 2 times and got a lot of 15ms servers.

* weird.

    How do you check region you have been put into on Xbox ? The game is unplayable last night I tried playing at 11pm -midnight still lagging. They need to fix this asap im contemplating returning this game or just waiting until they come up with a fix.

    I've been having the same issues. Mostly on Galactic Assault. Constant pausing and skipping. Turning off the EA * and changing servers didn't help at all. Their servers are trash. I have no problems in any other game online. I get 70mbps with 5 up. Funny how this is the only game that doesn't show any kind of server connection info. Just the lie of ping in the so called server you have picked. It makes GA damn near unplayable unless you just want to die because every time you run into an enemy you pause for a sec.

    Today it's totally trash for me too on XOne, I didn't have any trouble before. Half of my starfighter assault deaths are because of this dumb thing throws me into some space junk.

    absolutely * for me as well, i have 15mbps and everything on every platform loads and works fine, even other games but on the PS4 Battlefront 2 lags like crazy i even get 77ms on the AU server but its still lags (i get 150ms on Hong kong and get near to no lag.) doesnt lag in any other game with the same ping, its also mostly all EA games that do this.

    I have the same problems on my PS4 Pro. My internet connection is fine and other multiplayer games like Destiny, Ghost Recon Wildlands, GTA... work perfect. The weird thing is, that I had these issues with other EA games like the first Battlefront or Battlfied 4 too. All this is realy annoying because I actually enjoy playing the game when it works.
