Hey, SWBF2 won’t start up or does the game freezes while loading? @Batwolffe
/Atic
It shows the loading screen then after 10 seconds it goes back to the xbox menu.

Hey @Batwolffe Thanks for coming back!
What you can do is clear the saved data for SWBF2 on the xbox and cloud ( this will remove local saves and settings single player and arcade progression).
let us know if this works. 🙂

will I lose my player rank and all my star cards and my blasters in arcade?

Hey @Batwolffe you won’t, everything in terms of multi-player progress is saved on our servers. You will lose your save files for single player and the map progression in arcade and then your settings for the game.

What do you mean by map progression? Im not up to date on all that gaming names for things yet.
Didnt work still wont launch.
Do i have 2 delete the internal memory?

Hey @Batwolffe yes you do, Cloud and local saved data for the game need to be removed. I should been more clear on that part.
Map progression would be this (screenshot below):

Ok will the game want 2 update again if i delete the memory?
I deleted the memory now it wants install everything again and its literally going slwer then molasses.
I have also had problems with this game launching, since the last patch, and also, it does Not recognize my mouse, nor my keyboard and their configurations. Was a /bug where it thought i was using a PS4 controller, which i don't have one.
EA has Never fixed the Keyboard and Mouse issue, which it is their job to do.
I'm also having an issue where I can't launch the game. I played last night. Now I try to launch and it won't launch. Acts as though it's going to launch but then just dumps me back to Origin. I've repaired, restarted, deleted Battlefront II folder, nothing is working. I just don't understand. I played last night, nothing has changed overnight on my system.

The same thing is happening to me. The launcher is still a mess. It attempts to lauch the game then straight back to the launcher window.
Samething happening to me, cloud sync goes to 100% with no issues. Backs out of origin launcher, then origin pops up again acting like i never even pressed play. i just want to play the game i bought lmao
Same thing is happening to my game. I'm unable to launch it.
Having the same issue, tried many of the fixes on this thread and nothing is working.
It seems i have found a temporary fix. You need to have BF2 icon on your desktop. Next, close origin completely (right click from tray and select "Quit Origin")
Next launch BF2 by double clicking your desktop shortcut and Origin will restart, launching BF2 Without needing to click "play". Worked for me, hopefully it will work for you all.

This is infuriating. Started happening after the last patch. First thing to solve it? I updated my drivers. The next day, after the pc had been shutdown, the problem was back. The second thing to solve it? Deleting Origin's cache, following the guide EA laid out. Third time it happened? Updating Windows. Today? Problem is back and nothing is fixing it now, including the icon on the desktop trick suggested in the last post. Three different "solutions" on three seperate occasions and there is absolutely zero correlation between any of them.
It's something to do with Origin, and nothing else. There is no point in EA asking us to look at DXDiag, there is nothing wrong with our pc's. Origin is at fault here.
Edit - Fourth "solution"? Repaired the game for the umpteenth time. Didn't actually download anything. Just worked. It's definitely Origin being a pill somehow.
- itoao7 years agoRising Rookie@Azhrei I am having the exact same issue. Except I am still unable to get it to launch. This is BS.
- @MrWitten649 This worked for me! Thnx!
