Re: Battlefront II and Battlefield 1 purchased but wont play after play subscription

Hey @Undertakeriv,

So just to clarify; you own (as in actually bought) both games right? But you also had EA Play, which eventually expired, and now possibly caused the blocks?

And where both of these games purchased via Steam, like EA Play via Steam?

  • Yes, @EA_Leeuw I own (brought outright) both games - Star Wars on 05/24/2020 and Battlefield 1 Premium Pass on 11/20/2017 - order history says status completed, and order numbers are available if necessary

I purchased both through the origin PC app - I had brought access through origin three times for the annual membership, (2017, 2018, 2019) then steam once (2021 ish) and didn't renew - I was able to play BattleFront II by placing the app in my quick launch (so launching through windows rather than origin) but now have lost that ability and am not able to reinstall the game either now (after trying a reinstall yesterday)

I do feel a forum is a very weird way to report this (it came as the only 'recommended' way when I sought help in origin) - is there a direct contact?

    Thanks

  • What about for European clients? Your only choice for support is US or Canada...

    Hey @TK-47777,

That is not true. You can change the country at the top right corner of the website.

However, it is possible that not all support options are available for every country or region.
