Thank you, I managed to fix the issue by reinstalling the game and restarting my computer.
I'm guessing something must have gotten corrupted because repairing the game did nothing.

I am a big fan of Star wars and Battlefront 1 & 2. But I can not play multiplayer part in Battlefront 2. And I feel that install the game again is a bit odd to do. The game should work from the box and not spending 1000 of hours trying to fix the problem. EA and DICE should send out a fix for this problem. I am convinced that is it a problem with the software and not my computer. If I need to use a work around or any other "fix" means that it is something wrong with the game. Battlefront 1 worked from start. I did not need to fix it. And download 60 gb again is something I dont want to do.
