Re: Battlefront II randomly crashes to desktop!?

Mine's crashing when starting the game. So annoying. I wish I could get my money back, since I can't play it.

EDIT:

I actually managed to fix it by rolling back the Intel Graphics Driver. I use a laptop with a 970m and a i7 6700HQ, and the issue started after I updated the Intel Graphics Driver (not the nvidia driver).

The driver I was using that was causing the issue was the 26.20.100.7212. I downloaded from Intel's website the older 15.40.14.4352 and the game launched as usual.

    hi. mine is always crashing to desktop............ with no reason or message.

    i've used latest nvidia hotfix, changing good, no crash 2 days. But todays crash at every time...

    this game is realy *................

    Mine plays for a random amount of time then just crashes to the desktop with no error. Where can i find logs for these issues?

    Same problem here. Sometimes crashes on loading screen on a new single player level, sometimes during gameplay.

    I have:

    Ryzen 5 2600

    16GB of RAM

    RX 470

    @Killjoy_NS I have three computers all side by side and the computer with the and video card is crashing to desktop I pretty much have the same PC as you. It must be a driver issue

    Well I've reinstalled driver.
    Crashes on Battle of Endor level.

    It crashed before on level loading...etc...

    Changing/reinstalling driver didn't help.

    BUT, I had to try pirated version by CODEX.....

    Fascinating enough.....IT IS WORKING PROPERLY.

    Game is not crashing.

    So, since pirated version is from BEFORE.....probably before some updates, patches.....
    I guess......I'll stay on pirated version.

    So SORRY EA GAMES!

    Either way, I'm playing only single player campaign....so.....

    Irony HUH?
    Pirated version is working, but legal version is not.

    Is that MY FAULT that pirated version is working and legal version not?
    Anyway, I'm not a "cracker"....I'm just trying to find the way around to PLAY THE GAME.
    I've got it for free on EPIC.

    I ALWAYS first download and try pirated version and if I like the game, I buy it.

    Dude, I'm 35 and I don't have time to test game before "refund time expires" or something like that.

    I've got job, family, kids...

    Anyway, "throwing" 60€ on a multiplayer game.....which is gonna "expire" in 2 or 3 years time....is just wasting money.

    Multiplayer games, IMHO are wasting time.

    Maybe for competitions, official competitions or something like that...

    I'm interested in story line, not if somebody is better or faster than me.
