Re: BF2 Different Account On EA Play Than Xbox

@BigStoneGate

You should get an advisor to verify which account has the EA Play subscription. To do that, open a case here. If you're subscribed on a different account than the one you played BF2 on, we wouldn't be able to move over the content and progress.

    You're very welcome. If you have any other issues, please reach out again. Thanks!

  • I've had this same issue with my account being reset, opened a huge case with EA but they're unable to do anything without it happening to enough people.

    Hi there, @Suppositori

    I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up. Let me know if that helps or not. Thanks!

    No Luck. Still same issues with 918 Error and EA app showing my account name as Suppositori and the in game showing P4TT0N.

    Tried EA support help their endless loop didn't work either.

    Thank you for contacting EA. My name is Saurabh. Hope you are doing well. I have reviewed your case and gathered that you are getting error in the game. Please don't worry I will do my best to address your concern. Close the game and EA App completely. Reboot the game. Try to sign in again. Repeat the process until you log into the game successfully.

    Unfortunately, what the advisor recommended is the only resolution I'm aware of for this.

    I would also try this step on your console to see if this improves your situation. From the Xbox home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4.

    My cards and progress is all missing too. I think its account cache related not internet. I've installed with Steam and EA app and Epic, all launch the wrong account with no progress that can't play online.

    Account seen: P4TT0N

    Account that should be showing: Suppositori

    Any idea how I get EA app to pull and pass the correct credentials?
