Re: Can’t run game because of origin

I saw another post a little while back that said the verbiage in the message hadn't been changed yet from "Origin" to "EA app" - causing a bit of confusion. This may be what's going on in your case.

This being said, make sure Origin is uninstalled and you use EA app to run the game. You may need to uninstall both Origin and EA app, then reinstall EA app.
