Still no solution as I know of. I just magically was able to upgrade the cards after a couple of days. Hopefully the same happens for you.

Hi, I'm also getting the same issue. Both boxes are ticked which means I qualify for the star card upgrade but the actual upgrade option is greyed out. Need help as this effectively stops my progression, thanks.

Typical EA ignoring their problems and customers. Can't believe I gave them another shot, won't buy another of their games after this!
