Re: Chewbacca star cards glithced

Hey @Qualkonn

At first I would suggest to use the repair option in Origin.

If it doesn't help, please clear your Origin cache and rename folder "STAR WARS Battlefront II" in your documents. Then launch the game again and check if the spot is still corrupted.

Let me know if that helped 🤞

Thank's for the reply , I tried the above advised but sadly still no joy.

  • @Qualkonn a lot of times this issue is caused by arcade mode. Try going into arcade and unequipping your star cards, specifically the exact star card blocking your Chewbacca slot(you may need to do all of them as it seems blank) and Chewbaccas star cards, hopefully it will resolve your issue. Otherwise the only other way I know to resolve this issue is to delete locally stored data but you will lose campaign, arcade progress and some settings.

I see I've already lost all my progress in the campaign and arcade for some reason so I may as well just do that , How would I delete the local files , where are they stored ?

  • Sorry to resurrect this dead thread guys but I still don't know how to delete the cache to fix this issue . Please if someone can tell me the file path to which ever files I need to delete that would be great .

Hello @Qualkonn and sorry for not responding earlier!

This issue is pretty common and it can be fixed by deleting your local files. All your progression, credits, stats etc are still save on EA's servers, but your single player progression will be reset (that is, the campaign and the arcade battles). You keep all the skins and weapons of course!

Here are the steps for PC. If you want to read the full thread I made about this, please proceed here.

    PC

    1. Go into arcade and unequip the star cards on the class you experience the problem with. (if there are problems with blaster attachments, please do the same). Check if this solved the issue. If not, proceed to 2.
    2. Close down SWBFII and go into Origin. Disable the cloud savings of this game. See the screenshots below under "spoiler"
      Spoiler
Then, completely remove "STAR WARS Battlefront II" folder from your documents, clear Origin cache one more time and then try to launch the game.

Let me know if this worked for you!
