I know what you are experiencing. I have finished it many times. The challenge is not easy, but its doable. Depending on the spawn you will have two to three enemies in the middle. Use Maul. After first defeated enemies, move forward combining spin attack and avoid. You can have more than two spin attacks + fast recharge star cards. Now it should be easier.with Epic star cards.
