Just to back this up, I tried this method for both myself and my son and it worked. Although in my sons case, no country ever appeared in the "Site Ping" section, so he just hit "Reset to default" and that worked.

Could just be coincidence, could be that hitting Connect enough does the trick, but these steps worked for us.

    @Harathan Yo thanks mate, that actually worked the "Reset to default" method that your son did. Btw to add to the whole problem I honestly believe it is just insane load on their servers, as the game was free on epic games guys and I can only imagine how many people actually grabbed this game it's insane. As ofc EA monitors the average player base and won't overpay for too big servers, but just imagine what a crowd jumped in suddenly :D
