I called my ISP as you instructed, and asked them to make some "configuration changes" for me. The agent was understandably confused, and so I explained the situation.
The agent explained that the connection is most likely on the route between us, and we ran a few traces. We noticed timeouts would occurr 2 or 3 hops before reaching the server.
The agent concluded that this issue is most likely on your end.
And my background as a DevOps engineer, I'm inclined to agree.
When can we expect the team to start working on this half a decade old issue?
