Yes you can be very unlucky and have a full squad of enemies spawn right behind you in Blast. However, if they give you more room and move the spawns way back, then it takes away the pace of the game. On some maps, the spawning requires some tweaking, such as star killer base, in which you can just spawn camp in the hallways. The other maps are better IMO.

The spawning of HvV is at this point the worst. I have no idea what they changed, but it seems to me that at a certain point all the players are spawned at the same position (see death star 2 in the corner of the hangar), which results in a spam-your-lightsaber fight.

  • This issue with Blast is present since launch, but I have no idea if it's any different now then it was in the past. The problem here is that Blast has no direction towards an objective, so it's hard to get spawns to always happen somewhere without any enemies (or any players at all) to avoid that "out of thin air" aspect of the spawn.

    However on HvV, as seen on this thread: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/HvV-Spawning-both-teams-at-same-location/m-p/6734020#M12382 , is really annoying, as it seems the game tries to spawn you in the nearest spawn point to your team's target. If both targets are near the same spawn, it becomes a really annoying cycle of everyone spawning in the same place, over and over again. I already spawned inside an enemy, just to see him walking forward before me, so I could chase him from really close distance, just to be slashed by the next enemy that spawned in the same place a few seconds after me, and then see this very enemy being hunted by 2 teammates who happened to spawn in the same place like 1 second after the enemy that killed me. An eternal chase in the same place.

    Not exactly the same issue, but on some maps you tend to spawn behind obstacles (Mos Eisley) or inside of structures (Kashyyyk) that sometimes are a little tricky to move/jump/roll over.
