I am having the same issue as the OP, been through all the hoops and even got a similar "higher up" response. Fired myms, dxdiag etc over to them but frankly I am not hopeful.
The best part is that tech support is telling 60+ minutes to call them back and after sending me the e-mail with further instructions, they labled my ticket as "resolved." It is not resolved until I can actually boot the game!

If you have black screen, no sound on startup you may see how I resolved this problem yesterday (all Frostbite 3 games didnt work on my PC after last Origin update):
I am using Win7 but I checked my updates again and there was still one hanging in there. I installed that and still no luck. They also marked my case as resolved as well. I have been working with them to get this fixed for 4+ hours. I will have to try again tomorrow and if its not working by then I'm gonna have to ask for a refund... $90 so i could play a few days early and the first day spent just trying to get the game to load......
