Try anything and everything because official help seems to be a long way off. You can always back-up, uninstall and reinstall the Logitech profiler if it doesn't work. The only drawback is Joystick support in other games will probably break but you can set-up profiles for those too.
The pinnacle game profile enables me to emulate an Xbox 360 Controller. And when I set up the game in left hand mode, I can control the aircraft.
But it seems the other input are not working properly. Some of them do the same action, some do nothing.
In the edit settings menu, it does not detect when I press a button, and when you try to assign an action to an already used key, you have an error message.
please it is still not working.. I can't play anymore...
Have you tried to plug the controller prior to game launch? My gamepad is a bluetooth device that goes off after a while, and if I turn it back on the game does not recognized it. The only way it works is by turning it on before the game and never let it go off.

Exactly the same probleme here with my brand new christmas gift logitech joyestick : no way to use it, no way to configure anything, wtf happens here dudes???
I dont want to be rude, but for this kind of Big great game, to get this kind of issue is a shame.
