Re: Least Favorite Game Mode

Easily Instant Action. I'm sad that we're left with such a messy, uninteresting and unbalanced mode for when the game dies and support ends forever. There are no difficulty levels: you either go with the guaranteed win (normal or rookie difficulty) or the expert, which is challenging in a bad way. Bots have an annoying amount of aimbot. Heavys can snipe you from places that should be impossible. No tactics, strategies are involved, you can't flank, can't get to abandoned command posts, because your team is always much dumber than the enemy and they won't follow. While enemy bots doing the objective much harder than any player I've seen so far. Heroes are a mixed bag. Sometimes they just keep blocking everything and thanks to the aimbot, every shot will be hit back to you with perfect accuracy. Other times, they stop and stand between attacks like they were frozen up. Other times they just forget to attack you. They also have a tendency of getting stuck in corners and ledges, and they keep the entire match trying to jump out. This overall makes the balancing of the online modes (which in its current state works pretty well I think) totally useless. The basic assault/heavy weapons are real powerhouses when used by bots, since most of the shots are going to land, no matter if you dodge, fly, jump or knock them to the ground. Enemy officers and sinpers are hardly a threat.

Instant action sounded very good on paper, since it will be the only main mode when support ends and servers are closed. Somehow in 2005 Battlefront it was interesting - and I think it was mostly because the wide variety we had there. It would be great to have other multiplayer modes merged into offline, and Arcade entirely built in in.
