That was a good laugh. The fact is disney owns starwars and noone can do anything about disneys produtions.
1) Not gonna happen.
2) At least toss the GCI Clone Wars series away along with them.

They should remake the prequels before they worry about the sequels, although if any film of the nine (or even, of the eleven) needs to go, it's Episode VIII, but if it wasn't for that, the sequels would be clearly better than the prequels. As it is, they're still better, but Episode VIII is arguably the worst of the whole series. Solo gives it a run, but it's clearly the worst of the 'Skywalker Saga'.

I would have to say episode 1 and 2 are arguably the worse of the series. Jar Jar Binks, The unnecessary explanation of the force, bad character development, the cringe romance, an overall mediocre writing and average plot. Say what you will about the sequel trilogy but in terms of writing imo they were a notch better than George's. Vader who was seen as a badass became less cool by making his origin story about a whiny brat for three movies straight. Vader was better off not having an origin story with what we got.

I would agree that there's an argument that Episode II is worse than Episode VIII, but Episode I has positives too - Darth Maul is the only villain in the entire series that comes close to being as good as Vader and Palpatine, Duel of the Fates is up there with any piece of music from the original trilogy (better than most of it, and in the same league as the best of it), that duel between Maul, Obi Wan, and QGJ is arguably the best duel of the entire series, the pod race is fun (if you can ignore every time Anakin speaks). There's a lot wrong with Episode I, obviously, but there's a lot right with it too. Cut out Jar Jar, most of Anakin's lines, and tighten up the trade federation stuff, and there might well be a movie that's an hour and a half long, and quite good.
Episodes II and VIII have no redeeming features that I can think of. Other than that slaughtering Sandpeople was pretty dark, but Anakin being whiny and rubbish ruined a lot of the impact of that.
