I got the nvidia crashes, but since i have just reinstalled fresh OS - I am now getting the black screens :S *but not the nvidia failures - all campaign mode win7x64,intel core i7, nvidia 840m, origin access
Looks to be a similar issue. I hope a new driver will fix it permanently. I seem to have gotten my game to at least run for a good while by lowering some graphics settings and running the game as an administrator. But when I am back in the menu's it still randomly will blackscreen.
new driver, 388.31, came out 11/14 BTW
Did the new NVIDIA driver update fix the issues you encountered?
Technically, it says the 14th but it came out on the 15th :P, also after managing to get it installed correctly (clean install). The game has started randomly black screen, sound fades out and crash..
I've run the game repair a few times, and the black screens still happen. Maybe I will do the documents folder move and then repair again - official release is hours away, get ready to see the floodgates unleashed :P
