Hey guys, I see the error is still happening to people. It stopped happening to me, I wonder if it has something to do nodes or the server that we end up signing into. I was having issues since last Thursday and yesterday for the first time it worked. I won't change the status of this post because it is still happening to others. I have a custom game pic, so it's probably not that causing it.

Yep still a problem for me and my brother
here are some other steps that may work for some of you:
(note for us this only works [so far] if I'm acting as player 1 in these instructions and my brother is player 2)
1. Player 1 turns on xbox
2. Player 1 loads swbf2
3. Player 1 goes to social hub and sits there waiting.
4. Player 2 turns on xbox
5. Player 2 sits on home screen
6. Player 1 sends player 2 an invite
7. Player 1 exits social hub and waits on main screen
8. Player 2 accepts invite (swbf2 loads itself)
9. Neither player ever goes to social hub again
10. Party on dude!
I'm on an original Xbox One
brother is on Xbox One Xwe haven't yet tried your previous workaround (as it takes too long each night just to try to figure out if we can partner and we just want to play if anything works)

2nd note
we have had to ensure that both xbox's were fully off after quitting swbf2 before we could repeat the above set of instructions and have it work reliably
- Just to add to my brothers post.
Note that if #swbf2 has crashed on you, you MUST reload it, then quit it using the xbox menu, then power off completely and start again at step 1.
It seems #swbf2 caches some stuff that you need to clear by reloading and quitting.
