Re: Rank 50 Trophy not awarded

Hello Battlefront II community:

If you are wondering why you have not received the trophy/XP "The Force is Strong with this One" you are not alone. I have recently spent much time attempting to fix this issue on Playstation 4, but I am aware this is an issue on both consoles. 

After speaking on the phone and in chat with EA and Sony, I am here to provide answers. 

I first spoke with EA about this frustrating issue, who then directed me to Sony. Sony then directed me back to EA saying "We do not have access to their servers which unlock this trophy, like all games, the game itself must recognize the trophy has been unlocked and then you will receive it." Verbatim: 

"But I am afraid we do not have access to their servers. Our recommendation is to contact them back and explained you have already contacted us and we've clarified we are not able to assist whenever a trophy is not unlocked from their servers. I do apologize if I was not of more help."

So then I spoke with EA again and they almost redirected me to Sony again but I explained that Sony could not do anything about this. The EA representative spoke to their specialist team advisor and said this: "We are receiving reports from players who are not receiving their console trophy/achievement when reaching rank 25 and rank 50 in SWBF2. The Rank 25 trophy/achievement is being granted once the player hits rank 26. The Rank 50 is currently not granted at all. The Studio is aware and planning a fix in a future patch.

So now you do not need to contact Sony or anyone regarding it as no player received Rank 50 trophy yet and team is working on the fix as studio. A new patch will be released soon."

I then received reassurance after he said, "I love this game so much but I am sure, I am not good as you are. Rest assured, a patch will be implemented soon in the game and your issue will be resolved as well. Once again, I really apologize for all the inconvenience."

Let's pray and hope this patch will be released asap for all trophy hunters like myself.
