That's so disappointing. I liked the way it was before. There was this moment of a standoff. You would see both sides holding block with their swords raised and walking toward each other. If you were a blaster hero you knew it was only a matter of time before you died if they walked toward you.
That's all lost. The way the balance is now, there's no reason to pick a lightsaber hero and that's an immediate failure for a star wars game.
I'm either
1. Flying around like a plastic bag in the wind from an enemy force move I cant see.
2. Being shot in the back or receiving splash damage from a blaster hero
Or 3. Confusingly losing sword vs sword duels because the attack vs block programming doesn't make sense.
I dont understand why (block, deflect, parry) mechanics weren't developed further. Such a waste to have it all dumbed down to this when none of it makes sense for a 20v20 battle with guns blazing everywhere or a simple 1v1 duel.
