Re: SWBF2 Multiplayer Matching

Thanks for the feedback on matchmaking. I know when you go on a run of losing games it can be frustrating at times. Have you tried changing the server ping site in-game from the settings menu? This way you are likely to get matched up with others in a different region.

Hi Blueberry, thanks for the reply. I just changed to a different ping location, but same results. Played 5 games, 4 of them were wildly mismatched.

Do you know who I can contact to adjust my account settings? Players are weighed and matched based on their skills in the game and it’s clear mine are wrong. This isn’t about “losing” it’s that the mechanics are broken.

Do you know if I can clear my account and start over? I’ve contacted EA twice and have written here on the forums, but EA seems to want to make it difficult to communicate with them.

Our staff is not able to reset accounts or adjust matchmaking skill. We appreciate the feedback on this and we'll continue to let the Battlefront team know what the community would like to see changed in future updates.

Haha um, this is laughable. You say that, but clearly something has changed.

Just tried playing again and lost 5 matches in a row by huge point spreads. Are there player penalties where I did something wrong? It’s like I’m playing professionals all of a sudden. I guess I’m just not supposed to play the game any more? Am I expected to delete my origin account and start over or I guess I’ve just wasted $60? I mean, this is crazy.

    Any options would be appreciated.
