I haven't installed mods, and I did search the forum. The suggestion of a system reset seems extreme. Are there any other options to fix this issue? I can't reset my pc just because of this game. Maybe I will if this is the only option.

I can empathize. When someone suggests a system reset, it is certainly not the first thing I go off and do.
Perhaps, someone else will chime in with a different solution.
- @DarthFDG Yeah, man. Thanks for your concern.
Has this ever been resolved, I cant launch this game either. No support or resolve , really?
*EDIT: I can confirm that it is a DNS issue. I use a custom DNS to filter porn out for the kids in my house. after I configued DNS to googles dns that is 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 for secondary, EA can now connect.
It seems like the only way to prevent this issue is by resetting Windows, unfortunately.
It is a DNS issue. Thats why certain windows accounts are having trouble, DNS can be configured differently to an account. Try manually setting DNS to googles

where exactly do i change this on my pc? I do have a porn blocker on my pc and ever since I've added it i can't access battlefront 2 for some stupid reason. I don't think the blocker changes my dns but if it did im not sure where i'm suppose to change it because i've already tried the most obvious place and it didn't work.
