Re: Under-the-table changes continue to ruin Battlefront 2

@Edairman198526 I may be wrong here, but, I believe the last actual update to this game was in late 2020; and was mainly (among other things) released to patch Grevious claw rush ability hitting multiple targets in one use and being abused; does this sound correct @DarthFDG ?

All of the rocket aerials will take splash damage from their own rocket if it’s fired near them. I though this had always been a “thing” and I just tested it as I’m typing this and they all do suffer the affect.

One reason you might have seen one particular aerial not take (as much) splash damage could be due to a team buff effect like that from an Officer or Hero. If, say, the light side rocket aerial had the benefit of a stacked Finn “Big Deal” before they encountered you they could essentially shoot right in the area to slash kill everyone and take little to no damage themselves.

Part of what you’re seeing could also be the narrow radius of the rocket impact AOE. One could watch two aerial characters both fire a rocket near them and because the AOE is so small the amount of splash can vary. This is especially quirky given the “cluttered” nature of most of the maps.

I do, definitely, think there were update elements that the Devs included, in the past, which weren’t outlined in the patch notes; but this wasn’t one of them.

Yes, Correct. Here are the release notes for the last update (August 2020) that included gameplay changes. A small update went out to PC users a few weeks ago that (theoretically) only added support for some additional Intel CPUs.
