Unusually long load times recently

Has anyone else noticed the game is taking about twice as long to load as normal within the past few weeks?

    Yes. I've noticed. If we are experiencing the same thing. I think it is a driver problem, if you are using Nvidia. Look at this link: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Optimizing-shaders-all-over-again-after-restarting-origins/m-p/8934477#M32208

    What you are experiencing is i think is that the game's shaders are created every time you restart origins. (note you won't be able the see the shader optimzition text because for some reason it is bugged and invisible (not the first time). What i did was i rolled back my Nvidia driver and the problem is gone for now. (of course the first launch took as much as time as before, because of the driver rollback, but after restarting origins it didn't recreating my shaders anymore, so it was fine after that)

    Hopefully, this will also resolve the issue I posted of the game randomly crashing.
