@ToddyRocket1Yep, that's (was) exactly the problem.
Just because some few people are starting an agenda on reddit or youtube it doesn't mean that it's healthy for the gameplay or represents the other 70% of the playerbase.
Like seriously, when someone on reddit or a youtuber with much followers makes a post/video requesting a nerf/buff for XY, this stuff will be liked by all those who want the same and browse this specifically, different opinions within these threads/videos will most likely be buried due to the social media mechanics.
Then the patch arrives and guess what? The other half of the players that wasn't heard out at this point will start a counter-movement.
As seen in the eternal back-and-forth of Vader balancing, like:
1) Dmg resistance for Vader during choke animation? Ok.
2) Nah, we remove it because overpowered.
3) Damn, other people from the playerbase have spoken out against it, let's revert 2) again. Also Vader can block shots now.
Then that youtuber (unfortunately don't remember his name): "Han Solo's shoulder charge is waaaay too weak, needs a buff of at least 50 dmg points."
Next patch: Granted. Wait, what?
Sure, community feedback is important to point out bugs and balancing issues, though as dev you shouldn't just rely too much on that and take your time to test it.
Anyways, doesn't matter now. No support means no more strange balance changes.
