This would be considered an enhancement. As such, there is little chance it will be addressed.

Thanks for the reply. It would make the game so much better if it does. What are they still doing with the game?
- @ejhsega To be truthful with you not much the scariff update was pretty much the last major update to the game & the may 28th patch will more then likely be the very last patch to address bugs.
Mostly everyone has moved onto working onto battlefield 6 sadly. There could be a chance for a out of the blue patch to show up & some server side adjustments but I would say chances of something like that would be pretty small/extremely rare at this point. Thank you for the reply. I thought the devs stopped content only not patches as well. Hopefully, the series X has windows mode and allows mods so I can use the split screen mod. Can you play Co-op Missions by inviting friends If so XCloud will make this game better.
Hopefully, next week's Series X info will announce a way to get local co-op in IA.
Hopefully, we will get one final optimization patch when the new consoles are released.
There are numerous ways I can think split screen could be added.
Any of the ways would make me happy.
Hopefully, one of the ways to get split screen will happen.

- @Wickett42 As far as I know, the devs stopped content, not all updates. Since they were testing split screen in IA, the full code for it is probably on the consoles just deactivated.
The game updated so hopefully this will be added for the new consoles.
