Resourceful Card Bugged at 10% Reduction No Matter The Card Rank

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Equip resourceful max card (tier 4) on officer class and test something like the reduction of squad shield with a normal recharge time of 30 seconds or improved battle command with a normal recharge of 35 seconds. Squad shield only gets reduced by about 3 seconds making the cooldown roughly 27 seconds even with resourceful maxed. aka roughly 10% reduction. if resourceful at max rank was working correctly the recharge time of squad shield would be somewhere around 21-23 seconds
What happens when the bug occurs? instead of resourceful reducing recharge by 28% at max rank it is bugged and only reduces 10%
What do you expect to see? recharge time consistently bugs at only 10% reduction even with a tier 4 max rank resourceful card

  • During my first game after the latest patch resourceful was working correctly. i managed to get improved battle command recharge time to 25 seconds and squad shield to somewhere around 21-23 seconds. every spawn and every game after that it went back to being bugged. i have not been able to re create a situation where stop watch testing revealed resourceful was working correctly

    I've been wondering about this but never took the time to actually evaluate it. I was going to upgrade to epic.. but after using the rare tier (20% reduction), and barely noticing any difference (there is, albeit negligible - makes sense now after your post), i upgraded bounty hunter to epic instead and only use res card in strike/blast. If it actually made the difference that it is supposed to I would use it with survivalist in GA in a heartbeat.

  • Heavy (10% resourceful):

    Impact Grenade w/ resourceful: 36s
    Impact Grenade w/o resourceful: 40s

    Shield w/ resourceful: 27s
    Shield w/o resourceful: 30s
    Shield + Card w/ resourceful: 22s

    Officer (10% resourceful):

    Shield w/ resourceful: 27s
    Shield w/o resourceful: 30s

    Specialist (15% resourceful):
    Shock Grenade w/ resourceful: 35s
    Shock Grenade w/o resourceful: 35s

    Shield w/ resourceful: 19.8s
    Shield w/o resourceful: 22s

    So I have definitely had this bug occur to me pretty often when testing before update 1.02 and 1.03, however when recently testing (12/8/17) I could not replicate this. These results were tested in Arcade/Galactic Assault, with and without dying. I will continue to test it on occasion but I encourage others, especially with a higher rank resourceful, to try it out themselves. (due to human error each value was recorded multiple times with a manual stopwatch)

    battle command without card, without resourceful 40 seconds
    battle command with card, without resourceful 35 seconds

    battle command with card and resourceful 25 seconds

    (first order officer)(first spawn)(Takodana Maz's Castle Galactic assault) 35-25=10. 10/35x100= 28.57% (working correctly)

    battle command with card and resourceful 31 seconds

    (first order officer)(2nd spawn aka Esc then Respawn)(Takodana Maz's castle Galactic assault) 35-31=4. 4/35x100= 11.42% (not working correctly)

    *seconds were rounded down to nearest second

    Just tested officer with resourceful card again hoping it had been stealth fixed

    flashbang without resourceful = 35 second recharge

    flashbang with resourceful rank 4 (28% reduction) = 31 second recharge

    4/35x100 = 11.42% recharge reduction

    Seeing as this was the first card i made to rank 4 back before i knew it was bugged i'm not impressed this has not been fixed yet even though i submitted a bug report back in december...
